Creating 'Warming Places'

Pastor Andrei Klopkov and many members of his church in Krakow collected large double-walled, military surplus tents and other items to deliver into Ukraine. We complemented each tent with 2 generators, heaters, lights, extension cords, power strips, cots and tables to create 'warming places' where people could charge their mobile phones and have a warm rest in the wintertime.

Once loaded in Poland and across the border into Ukraine, we began the long, snowy road to the NE corner of the country to the town of Chernihiv. The mule of a Ford has never failed us even once!
