Very soon, in the first week of August, we will assist and support a globally well-known painter to come to the village of Moshchyn and paint a large mural of hope and homecoming on this prominent building.
The mural will be on two walls, the front wall on the right side of the door, and on the side wall. Without going into much detail just yet, be on the lookout for more posts on this on or about August 5th. It is a beautiful conceptual design that incorporates symbols from Ukraine's unique cultural heritage, its national colors, as well as a purely human desire for reconnecting with loved ones in an act of homecoming. As this village, and indeed the country begins the process of cleaning and rebuilding - even under threat of continued attack - this colorful display is intended to offer a steady reminder of the concept of "Coming Home"
